A quick reminder for residents about the disposal of Christmas trees. These will be collected for free during January with the weekly waste collections – just leave the tree next to your bins. All decorations must be removed, and trees over 3 feet long should be cut in half.
Icy Weather
No doubt you will have discovered that the roads and pavements have become quite treacherous with the temperature drop just recently. Glasslyn and Montenotte Roads are priority 1 for gritting treatment by the council, but I think this happens only when actual snow is forecast. Note that there is a grit bin located near the top of Montenotte Road which is available for residents to make use of.
Meet the Police
Our local police team will be available to meet Crouch End residents on Tuesday 6th January from 10am to 12 noon: you will find them in the Broadway by the bus stop next to the Town Hall Green if you want to raise with them any local issues that concern you.
