We held our AGM on Thursday 9th October at the North London Cricket Club, and for those of you who were unable to attend you can find the minutes of the meeting on the GMTRA website here>>.
The committee was re-elected: Nick Evans (View Crescent), Simon Williets (Tivoli Rd), Zander Calderwood (Glasslyn Rd), Henry Perks (Glasslyn Rd), with myself, Rob Jackson (Glasslyn Rd) as Chair.
We have a healthy bank balance and our outgoings are small, so once again we have decided there is no need to collect subscriptions from residents this coming year. If you know of any neighbours who are not on our mailing list do encourage them to join; there is no fee!
Hornsey Cricket Club update
We were pleased to be joined at the AGM by Jim Chapman (Chair of the Hornsey Club) and Sophie Kent (Secretary). Jim updated the meeting on the Club’s latest plans: you will find a good summary of Jim’s remarks in the AGM minutes. You may have noticed that the padel courts have gone for now, and the Club is seeking to reinstate padel with a new operator. Subsequent to the AGM, Jim has informed us that a preferred operator has now been identified, namely Smash Padel. See their website here>>.
