Planning Application 4G Mast

The GMTRA committee would like to draw your attention to a planning application for the erection of an 18 metre 5G telecoms mast at the bottom of Wolseley Road.  The location is to the side of 61 Park Road, where the pole/mast and associated cabinets would be situated, which is just on the edge of our conservation area.

Because this proposed site is so close to our GMTRA streets, it’s an area where, over the years, GMTRA committee members have taken an active interest. With the help of Crouch End councillors we organised the removal of the large recycling bins from here because of the dumping that took place around them. We have regularly cleared dumped rubbish from under the trees, had shrubs planted and pruned them, weeded this area and removed self-seeded saplings and arranged for broken and dangerous branches to be dealt with. We also arranged, with the support of a councillor,  for TfL to reinstate the W5 bus stop here, after hail and ride was ended.
