We will all be taking down the Christmas decorations in the coming days and weeks. Below is information on how you can dispose of your Christmas Tree in Haringey for free and ensure it is recycled.

Christmas Tree Recycling – Kerbside Collections & Drop-off Points

Haringey are offering a number of ways to recycle your Christmas tree. (please remember to remove all lights and decorations).

Kerbside property collection:

Your tree can be collected for free if you are eligible for a food and/or garden waste collection – simply place it in your garden waste bin on collection day.

If you don’t have a garden waste bin, leave it next to your kitchen caddy/wheelie bins – you can do this until the end of January.

Important: trees over 3 feet long (1 metre) should be cut in half otherwise they cannot be collected.

Communal bin property collection:

The council can collect your tree for free, simply leave your tree next to your communal waste container – you can do this until the end of January.
