Break-in at Highgate Cricket and Lawn Tennis Club, 3.20am 30th August
Message from John Newton, Chair Shepherds Cot Trust:
Please take note that a break in took place at Highgate CLTC last night. The alarm went off and the offenders ran off. They were caught on CCTV and the police are being informed.Andy Newton at Highgate is reporting this matter to the Police and will gather a crime number, in case anyone has further information.
North London Car Park
Please note the North London Car Park will be closed to vehicles for at least 3 weeks from 5th September while ground works are carried out at the North London Cricket Club.

Emergency Gully Cleansing
Watch out for signs – currently there are some in Coolhurst Road and several nearby streets for 30th and 31st August and others round Crouch End for a later period. I can’t help but think some of these blocked gullies are caused by all the dead leaves that are dropping. If you are able it would be nice if you remove any from the top of a gully near you.
Dumping
We seem to have had a spate of dumping possibly because the area has been fairly quiet while residents have been away. Even a mattress in Tivoli Road! We would encourage residents to use the ‘Love Clean Streets’ App for reporting any matters of concern – including overflowing bins and litter – to the Council. Get the App here >>.
